Sunshine and Shadows quilt in darker colours. I used the quilting designs from Pepper Corys out-of-print book on Amish Quilting patterns. This quilt has been used on childrens beds but still looks pretty good.
Ocean Waves - this quilt had to be ready for the "Maritime Ipswich" display, so was machine quilted in a leaf pattern.
Star of Bethleham - another quilt which went as rent for a summer holiday at Janine's house on Chebeague islan, Maine. I missed the quilt, so made the quilt again. I think this photo is of the second quilt..
Centre Diamond Quilt - following a pattern from McCalls Big Book of Quilts. Machine sewn and hand quilted using black thread. This was quilted in a frame - I came down one morning to find that a yellow felt tip had been left uncapped and had made a large mark - luckily, it was the washable sort and came out completely. Phew!! Using traditonal Amish quilting patterns including running feather and feather wreath in black thread.
Amish Cake Stand quilt - made after an antique quilt shown in one of the Pellman books. First quilt that I made with cotton wadding, it is a heavy quilt. I sold the original quilt, regretted the sale and made another which I still have.
Fruit Basket Quilt, made after an antique quilt shown in one of the Pellman books. All hand quilted using a dark grey thread. Running feather border.
